Winter:It Could Always Be Worse!

Did you know that nationally, it’s been one of the warmest winters on record? I know for those of us in the Midwest and the East Coast, it’s hard to believe. But according to the National Climatic Data Center, we are experiencing the sixth warmest winter on record. So far this month, there have been more than 4-thousand records set for warm temperatures. That of course is mostly in the West. And only 236 records for cold temperatures nationwide.

Some say the movie depicts Chris Kyle as a war hero while others say it’s propaganda and a glorification of war. It has definitely fueled the debate over recent US military action. I’m not here to tell you my opinion. What I do want to talk about is the problem of mental health issues in our military servicemen and women. It’s become the main focus in the trial of Eddie Ray Routh.
